Good News

In addition to the ministry we have been able to provide at the Standish Maximum Facility this last year, we were blessed and pleased to also provide some special gifts. Through our ministry, Ken Copeland Ministries was able to send daily devotionals to all of the 50 inmates that we correspond with. One in particular has been praying for a Bible, when the daily devotional came in the mail! The Bible will follow shortly. Praise God for answered prayer!!

We are continuing correspondence and visits with many at various Michigan facilities. We thank God for helping us to provide help and direction for these men while they are behind bars and also when they are released. "Victory House" will soon be in operation with our first paroled tenant faithfully waiting in line. God is so faithful!

If you need some good news today, the best news around is that God sent His only son, Jesus, to the earth to die for you. He carried all your sin, sickness, pain, grief and even your broken heart so that you don't have to. All you have to do is believe that Jesus died and rose again, and receive Him as your Savior and Lord. Just pray this simple prayer from your heart:

Dear God - I believe that you sent your son, Jesus, and that He died and rose again for me. Thank You for forgiving all my sin. I receive you as the Lord of my life. Thank You, Father God. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

4 boxes of groceries and a huge box of wrapped Christmas presents. That is the blessing that Mel Straight Ministries provided to a needy family of 3 children in Browntown, MI. It was such an honor to deliver these items on Christmas Eve, knowing that they would have gone without otherwise. And each child, ages 7,8 and 10, received each gift with a tag that said "Jesus Loves You!"
